CLINICCARE Targeted Chemical Peels

Resurfacing, chosen for the acid, not the name.

from £60Bookable now

Soft, even editorial skin photography on a warm ground.

iWhat it actually does

In plain English.

A chemical peel uses a controlled, superficial acid blend to loosen the bonds between dead surface cells so they shed evenly. As the surface renews, texture refines and tone looks more even.

We use CLINICCARE professional peels and match the blend to your skin: a glycolic-and-mandelic glow peel for brightness, an azelaic-and-lactic pure peel for calmer, congestion-prone skin, or a glycolic refresh peel with an anti-ageing focus. These are superficial peels, run as a short course, not an aggressive one-off.

Whether it is right for you.

Who it is for

  • You want to refine texture, soften the look of congestion or even out tone over a course.
  • You prefer a measured, progressive approach with a clear plan rather than a single dramatic session.
  • You are happy to follow simple aftercare, including sun protection, between sessions.

When we would say wait

  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding, where we would review which actives are appropriate first.
  • You have active, inflamed skin, a recent sunburn, or are using certain prescription actives we would need to plan around.
  • Tell us when you book, or message us first, and we will say plainly if a different peel or order would serve your skin better.

iiiWhat to expect

Honest expectations.

  • On the daySkin can look a little pink and feel tight; some people notice a fresher tone straight away.
  • Next few daysLight flaking or shedding can occur depending on the peel. We give you simple aftercare and ask you to be diligent with sun protection.
  • Across the courseTexture and tone refine progressively over a course of three, spaced two to four weeks apart and reviewed against your baseline.

A few questions

The honest answers.

It depends on the blend and your skin. Some people get light flaking for a few days; others very little. Your practitioner will tell you what to expect before you book so you can plan around it.

Superficial peels work best as a short course, commonly three sessions two to four weeks apart, then reviewed. We will recommend what your skin actually needs, not a fixed package.

Sometimes, yes. Certain actives and recent sun exposure matter. Tell us when you book, or message us first, and we will flag anything to adjust so the course is safe and effective for you.
